Refund and Exchange Policy

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order you may return it for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of when you receive your order. When ordering moccasins and the correct size and width specified by customer is shipped the customer must pay for shipping and handling when a size exchange is made.

Note about all Buoy Lamp purchases:

“My Buoy is cracked”

Buoys that have checked, i.e. cracked, are a common concern of the retail consumer. Please let me assure you that this is not a problem in as much as the checking does not get any worse with the passing of time. Finding a buoy that is not checked is virtually impossible and I would estimate that 98% of our buoys are found with this condition.

Checking is the result of the drying process of wood and occurs as the heart wood, i.e. center of the tree expands and contracts as the tree dries after being cut and it’s bark removed.

Our buoys are made from tree length round Northern White Cedar. In other words, it is just slightly smaller than the diameter of the tree from which it is cut. The fact that the buoy is made from round tree stock means that each piece contains the center of the tree or the heart wood as opposed to products that are made from larger trees where the heart wood and checking process are eliminated by cutting.

Once the heartwood has completely dried and the checking process stops, no further cracking occurs. However, each piece of buoy wood is left with at least one or more visual harmless cracks.

Shipping

Please allow us 4-6 weeks to ship a custom order of any hand painted lighthouse lamp where the customer supplies a picture of a specific lighthouse.

Please allow 2 weeks for shipping of all other buoy lamps.
